Mould Rug Cleaning

The acreage-style homes around the complex are regulars on our eastern run, and big country-sized blocks mean big rugs, the kind that only come clean in a full immersion wash.
The complex on Old Cleveland Road hosted the shooting events for both the 1982 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, and it remains the only shooting venue in the country equipped for all disciplines at a single location, with ISSF-standard ranges and on-site accommodation set in bushland. On big competition weekends it draws shooters from across Australia and overseas.

We drive the old tram route along Old Cleveland Road every week on the Belmont and Carindale pickups; the trams are long gone but the collection run still follows their line.
Belmont Shire opened its own tramway in 1912 to connect to the Brisbane system, but it ran at a loss, services were suspended in 1915 and the line formally closed in 1926. Brisbane's electric trams finally reached Belmont in August 1948 and ran until the network closed in 1969. Sections of track along Old Cleveland Road are now on the Queensland Heritage Register, one of the few physical reminders of the tram era left in the ground.

My rug is 3 by 4 metres. Can you handle it?
Easily. The Yatala wash floor was set up for full-size living-room rugs, and the driver collects them rolled so you never lift more than a corner. Oversized pieces are quoted on inspection like everything else.
How does the dog smell actually come out?
Urine and dander sink through the pile into the rug's core. Surface treatments never reach it, which is why the smell returns on humid days. Immersion washing flushes the foundation itself, so what caused the smell is gone rather than covered.
Do you collect from Carindale and Gumdale too?
Yes. Belmont, Carindale, Gumdale, Wakerley and Mackenzie all sit on the same eastern loop, so pickup days are frequent. Each extra rug added to one booking is $20 cheaper.
How long before the rug comes back?
Roughly seven days from pickup to return. A 48 hour express option is there at additional cost when the calendar is against you.
What if the wash misses something?
Unroll it, look it over, and tell us within 48 hours of delivery. The re-wash guarantee means it goes back in the bath, no argument. Twenty-nine years in, we would rather wash twice than hand back a half-done rug.
Is the work outsourced anywhere?
No. The same Premier team owns the job end to end: collection, the wash at our Yatala facility, drying and the return run. Nothing leaves our custody.
