A hand-knotted wool rug is heavy. A large floor rug is awkward to move and won’t fit in the boot of a car. We recognized over 29 years ago that the single biggest barrier for our clients was simply getting their rugs to us.
That is why we built our service around a complimentary pickup and delivery model covering the vast area from the Sunshine Coast down to the Northern Rivers. Our team comes to your home, from inner-city Brisbane to the Toowoomba ranges, and handles all the lifting. Your rug is then brought to our dedicated 313-square-metre Yatala facility for a level of cleaning that simply cannot be replicated by a mobile, on-site service.
Why Facility-Based Cleaning is Non-Negotiable in Our Climate
Southeast Queensland’s subtropical humidity is a primary driver of rug degradation. When moisture is trapped in dense rug fibres, it creates a breeding ground for mould and mildew, often invisible from the surface. An on-site surface clean can’t address this. A full immersion wash and climate-controlled drying process is the only way to guarantee the removal of mould spores and the musty odours they produce.

- Extract Abrasive Soils
We use specialized dusting equipment to vibrate out the fine, gritty soils common to the region, from the red clays of the Darling Downs to the sand brought into coastal Gold Coast homes. This dry particulate matter acts like sandpaper, severing rug fibres under foot traffic if not fully removed before washing.
- Full Immersion Wash
Our washing process is a gentle full immersion wash. This water is naturally soft and free from the mineral deposits found in municipal water, resulting in a softer feel for delicate fibres like wool and silk and preventing mineral build-up.
- Control the Drying Environment
Air-drying a rug in SEQ’s humidity can take days and encourages mould growth. Our climate-controlled drying room ensures your rug is dried thoroughly and safely in a matter of hours, preserving fibre integrity and preventing microbial growth.

Book Your Service
Call us or use our online form. Provide your address and an approximate rug size. We can often identify the rug type from a photo.
Schedule Pickup
We coordinate a pickup time based on our regular runs through your area. You'll receive a time window so you're not waiting around all day.
Collection
Our driver collects your rolled rug from your door. Got a very large rug or need furniture moved? Ask when booking — a two-person team is available (additional fees apply).
Specialist Cleaning
At our Yatala facility, your rug undergoes our full immersion cleaning, stain treatment, and controlled drying process.
Arrange Return
Once your rug passes its final inspection, we'll call you to schedule a convenient delivery time.
Delivery
We return your clean, dry, and wrapped rug, unroll it for your inspection, and place it back where it belongs.

From Your Floor to Our Facility: What Happens Next
Once collected, your rug is tagged and transported to our workshop at Unit 9 38 Computer Rd, Yatala QLD 4207. Here, it is inspected under specialised lighting to identify issues not visible in a home environment. We document its condition, test fibres for colourfastness, and then begin the multi-stage cleaning process tailored to its specific material, whether it be wool, silk, viscose, or a synthetic blend.
You are welcome to call us anytime for a progress update. If you are located nearby in the Ormeau, Beenleigh, or Logan areas, you can also drop your rug off directly to our facility during business hours.

Yes. Standard pickup and delivery is free within our service areas — included as part of our cleaning service, with no added transport fees or fuel surcharges. A two-person team or furniture moving is available on request for an additional charge.

For most Brisbane and Gold Coast jobs, expect 7 to 10 business days. For the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and Northern NSW, the typical turnaround is 7 days door to door.
Do I need to roll the rug up myself?
Please have your rug rolled and ready for the driver if you can. Need help with rolling or furniture moving? Ask when booking — assistance is available for an additional charge.
What if I'm not home during the scheduled time?
We can arrange to collect from or deliver to a secure, sheltered area like a porch or garage. Please discuss this with our team when you book.
