Does salt air really damage rugs?
Over time, yes. Salt is hygroscopic, meaning it keeps pulling moisture from the air into the fibre, which flattens pile and encourages odour and mould. A full immersion wash removes the salt itself, which surface cleaning cannot do.
Can you wash my mother's old Persian safely?

Does dog urine come all the way out of a wool rug?
Yes, provided the source is flushed from the foundation rather than chased around the surface, and that is precisely the job a full immersion bath does. Urine that has sat through humid bayside weather can attack dye, so we test first and tell you honestly if any shadow will remain.
