Raven Street Reserve is McDowall's piece of the Chermside Hills Reserves, three linked reserves totalling 129 hectares across the McDowall and Chermside West boundary, forming a key stretch of the Mountains to Mangroves corridor. The bush holds swamp and red-necked wallabies, koalas, echidnas and gliders, more than 200 native plant species and over 100 bird species, with the main entrance and playground on McDowall's side off Rode Road.
