The Seagulls purchased the Wondall Road ground in 1964 and have played top-grade rugby league there since 1967. Known as the Wondall Road Ground until 1971, it then took the name Kougari, a word for seagull, and on home game days it pulls the whole bayside over the hill and into Manly West.
