North Lakes began as one decision. In April 1999 Lend Lease and Lensworth launched the project across a 1,000 hectare site, planning around 8,500 homes for some 25,000 people, and that September the developers signed an agreement with CSIRO to build the suburb on sustainable methods, unusual thinking for the era. Stockland bought Lensworth in December 2004 for 825 million dollars, the suburb was gazetted in its own right in February 2006, and the 2021 census counted 23,030 residents around Lake Eden, almost exactly what the 1999 plan promised. We appreciate that kind of delivery, because our own promise works the same way: a fixed method, a fixed figure at inspection, and a schedule we actually keep, run after run. A suburb that hit a 25-year target has every right to expect its rug cleaner to hit a 7-day one, and to say so if we ever miss.

Almost every home in this postcode was built after 1999 to the same interior logic: rendered facades, open-plan living over tile and hybrid boards, alfresco areas, double garages. It is a design that works beautifully and funnels every single footstep across one large rug, the only soft surface in the room and usually in the house. Rug Steam Cleaning

What decides the price for a North Lakes rug?

The house is only a few years old. Does the rug really need washing?
Sooner than most owners expect. New builds seal tightly, humidity still gets in, and construction-era dust lingers in the area for years. It all settles into the one rug evenly, so the dulling goes unnoticed. Most new-estate rugs we wash surprise their owners on the day they come back.
