Coomera spreads 24.6 square kilometres across the Coomera River's southern country, midway along the corridor between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with 20,225 residents recorded at the 2021 census and building still going on in every direction. Odour Removal

Rug Spot Cleaning

The suburb takes its name from the Coomera River, and the river's name is recorded as coming from the Indigenous word kumera, a species of wattle whose bark Aboriginal people used on the water to stupefy fish. European settlement followed the same river: a provisional school opened on 11 July 1873, becoming Coomera State School the next year, and a Wesleyan Methodist church followed in May 1874, back when the flats grew crops and the river was the road.
