How much does rug cleaning cost, and is it worth getting an area rug cleaned?
We quote each rug by size, fibre and condition rather than a flat rate, because a small wool rug and a large handmade one are not the same job. The quote is free with no obligation. For a good wool, silk or handmade rug, a proper wash is usually far cheaper than replacing it, and if a rug is not worth cleaning we will tell you honestly at inspection.
How much does it cost to wash an 8x10 rug?
A larger 8x10 rug is priced on its size, fibre and how soiled it is, so we give you an exact figure at the free inspection rather than guess blind. Good news if you have a few: bringing in more than one rug saves $20 off every additional rug in the same booking, so a big rug plus a runner costs less together than separately.
Is it worth splurging on a professional clean instead of a DIY or hire machine?
A hired carpet machine cannot safely immerse a wool, silk or Persian rug, and it will not reach pet urine set into the foundation.
